Their eyes are large, which may come in brown or hazel colors. Their ears are described as low-set, soft and long. Their necks are medium-length but are very strong.
Beagles come in various colors. Commonly, they are tri-colored with light brown shading, black and white color combinations. In terms of temperament, these dogs are non-aggressive, amiable and merry. Their average lifespan is 12.35 years. These dogs are used for medical research, animal testing as well as hunting.
