What is The Biggest Hotel Lobby?

 

The biggest hotel lobby in the world is the one at Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. It measures 2800 sq meters and is five stories high. It is a glass atrium that connects the two buildings that make up the hotel. 

Basic Features 

The hotel is just three minutes from the main terminal of the airport. It is connected by a 660 ft underground walkway. The Novotel has 612 rooms. These are divided into two five–storey edifices. 

The buildings take up an area of 10.5 hectares. In the middle of each building are open atriums. This is different from the glass atrium that connects the building, which is the biggest hotel lobby in the world. The design of the hotel makes it easier to manage the environment.

Restaurants 

The Novotel has a bar and four restaurants. It has an all day dining outlet called The Square. They serve different kinds of Asian and Western dishes. The dining outlet also has cuisines from various countries all over the world. 

The Sala Thai Pavilion serves genuine Thai cuisine. The Gold Village Chinese Restaurant offers Cantonese delicacies. Kinsen Japanese Restaurant on the other hand, serves up Japanese cuisine. 

Facilities 

The Atrium Terrace Lobby Lounge provides its guests with a place to relax. The hotel also has a 25 meter / 82 ft swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by lush gardens reminiscent of the tropical islands. 

Aside from having the biggest hotel lobby, the Novotel also has babysitting service, Dolfi Kid’s Corner and a shopping arcade. Other amenities include a shopping arcade, spa facilities and fitness center. 

The hotel also has over 2,400 square meters of space for conference halls and meetings. The hotel has a pillarless ballroom with space for over 800 individuals. There are also half a dozen meeting rooms available. 

Rooms 

The Superior room can have a single king sized bed or two single beds. The room has hair dryers, TV with broadband Internet access and an ergonomic work area. The room also has a sofa bed, marble bathroom and shower. 

The Executive Floor allows for two adults and two children. Guests will also have cocktails and lounge access. The Suite has separate areas for the bathroom and lounge. Two adults and two children are allowed. 

All the rooms have sprinklers, smoke alarms, deadbolt, air-conditioning and a minibar. The rooms also have a safe deposit, PPV channels and voicemail. 

All the rooms have cable color TVs and security peephole. The bathrooms have bathtubs, shower, magnifying mirror, hair dryer and make-up. The hotel serves cold snacks and hot dishes. 

Other Features 

In total the hotel has 30 suites and 498 non smoking rooms. There is public outdoor and private indoor parking. There is a 24 hour security, video camera at the building entrance, ramp access and video security for the hallways. There is an airline desk, concierge and cash machine. 

Apart from having the biggest hotel lobby, the hotel is also just an hour from Pattaya, one of the most famous beaches in Thailand.
