TV Dimensions Chart
It’a good to understand what a TV Dimensions Chart is regardless if you want a regular TV or even an LCD or LED version.
To get the maximum viewing pleasure, the TV dimensions have to be chosen carefully. Most want the biggest screen possible. However, what actually matters is that the TV screen should be the correct size relative to where you will be sitting.

About Regular and Widescreen TV Viewing
As a rule, most people like to watch from a point 3 to 6 times the screen’s width. Widescreen TVs are something else. As they have higher resolution, closer viewing is recommended. This will allow you to see the visuals more thoroughly.
Widescreen TV can be viewed as near as 1.5 times the screen’s diagonal size. Sitting farther than three times away could make you miss some of the elements.
TV Dimensions Chart – Room Size
The 30 inch and smaller TVs are best for bedrooms. However they are too small for the living room. However, the big screen TV will look out of place in a small bedroom. If you have a tube TV, keep in mind the larger the screen, the bulkier it is going to be. If you’re buying a big TV, make sure there is enough ventilation (space between the sides).
The TV dimensions and viewing distance should never be discounted. If you are too close to the TV, the screen won’t look right. For this reason, it is important you assess these two factors together. As you can see, there are a lot factors going into a TV Dimensions Chart but knowing these will help you get the right size TV for your use.
