Squeeze Page Length
The ideal squeeze page length depends on the content. Many web designers would recommend the content be around 200 to 300 words. Your objective is to get people to subscribe or purchase the product. So make sure the information is relevant. Here are a few things to keep in mind.
Use Web Development Software
This is the easiest way to set up the squeeze page. These programs can remove a lot of the drudgery involved in setting up the page. If you want to exercise complete control over the page, it will help to know a bit of HTML code.
Adding Links
This is the next step. Follow the instructions on the software on how to add the links. It is important that you add only relevant links. The links you include will say a lot about your page. Put the links on the page’s bottom. You don’t want them to get in the way of the user.
Check the Traffic
If users are leaving the page without going through the content, the squeeze page length may not be sufficient. Or the content itself may have to be changed. Again, the emphasis is on relevance. A change in the sales pitch may also be necessary.
Avoid Clutter
Don’t crowd the page with flashy elements. Your goal is to get the reader’s attention not annoy them. If possible, make it one page long. That is, there is no need for the person to keep scrolling down.
Use cool, subdued colors. Do not use neon colors. The background and headline text color should contrast. This will make the text easier to read. Avoid fancy backgrounds. People will lose track of the contents.
Fonts and Style
