The Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable floors. There are also forty six floors used for maintenance. The floor area is 3,331,100 sq ft or 309,473 m2. At 828 m (2,717 ft), it is the tallest skyscraper ever built. The previous record holder was the Taipei 101 which stands at 1,671 ft or 509.2 m.
It should be stated that the Burj Khalifa is not just the tallest building; it is the tallest structure ever made. The previous tallest structure was the Warsaw radio mast at 2,121 ft / 646.38 m.
It is also the highest extant structure, beating the KVLY-TV mast which stands at 2,063 ft) / 628.8 m. It is also the highest freestanding structure, beating the CN Tower which stands at 1,815 ft / 553.3 m.
The Burj Khalifa’s 160 floors are the most for any building. The 160th floor is also the highest occupied floor in the planet.

The building also has the world’s tallest mosque on the 158th floor. It also has the tallest glass and aluminum facade installation. It is set at a height of 512 m (1,680 ft). The Burj Khalifa also has the highest swimming pool on the world (76th floor). A night club is on the 144th floor, the highest in the world.
Contraction
The building was made by Samsung Engineering & Construction, a South Korean company. Over 45,000 m3 (58,900 cu yd) of concrete was used in the construction. The concrete used weighed an estimated 110,000 tonnes (120,000 ST; 110,000 LT). The foundation has 192 piles, each 1.5 meter diameter x 43 meter long. Construction time took over 22 million man-made hours.
The world’s biggest building has a fountain system outside. It is lit by 50 colored projectors and 6,600 lights. It is 902 ft / 275 m high and shoots water 150 m (490 ft) into the air.
