If you’ll be cutting concrete, determine the age first. The older the concrete is, the harder it will be. Make sure the blade is suited for concrete you will be working on. The aggregate in the concrete is also a factor.
Harder aggregates will require stronger blades. If its limestone or sand, lower strength diamond blades will be sufficient. Basalt, quartz, granite and river rock are very hard.
Aside from knowing the diamond blade sizes, the bore specifications will also be necessary. You should also know the blade size capacity and the rpms. By being aware of what the blade can do, you won’t have problems with operating the device.
