How to Test the Ski Boot Size
Put the boots on and stand up. The toes must touch the front boot. While leaning forward, bend the knees. The toes should be able to pull from the boot’s front, but it shouldn’t push too much. If the boots feel fine, walk around for 10 minutes or so. Make sure there are no stressful pressure points.
If you want to be really sure, wear them for at least a couple of hours as you go around the house. If your feet begin to hurt, they’re too small or narrow. You’ll need to pick another size if there is a squeezing feeling at the instep or the heel.
Custom Boot Fits
If no sizes are comfortable, go for the custom fit. There are many types of ski boots that offer this service. The prices will vary greatly though, so you need to do some research.
Figuring out the correct size is easy if you use a ski boot size guide. By taking the appropriate steps to test them, you should be able to get the proper boots.
