American Shoe Size
The following are the American shoe sizes for men, ladies, boys and girls. For comparison purposes, sizes in Great Britain will be listed as well.
US Men’s Sizes
The sizes are 5.5, 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5, 12 and 12.5.
US Ladies Sizes
The sizes are 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10 and 10.5.
US Girls Sizes
They are 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5 12, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3.
US Boys Sizes
The sizes are 11.5, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5.
British Ladies Sizes
Compared to the American shoe size, the British system is markedly different. They are 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 and 8.
British Men’s Sizes
The sizes are 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5 and 12.
British Girls Sizes
They are 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5, 12, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 1, 2 and 2.5.
British Boys Sizes
They are 11, 11.5, 12, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 4.5 
How to Measure Your Feet and Get the Right Shoes
Step 1
Wear socks. Place a piece of paper on the floor and stand on it. Make sure both feet are set on it.
Step 2
Get a pen and trace your right foot’s outline on the paper. It is imperative that you hold the pencil perpendicular to the paper. This will ensure accurate tracing.
Step 3
Make a straight line at the foot’s heel, the foot’s farthest edges and big toe.
Step 4
Get the tape measure and gauge the distance from the toe line to the heel. Take the measurement in inches to the closest 16th of an inch.
Step 5
To get the foot width, measure from each side’s line until you get to the other. It is imperative that you measure to the nearest 16th of an inch.
Shoe Conversion Guide
Here are some common sizes and their shoe dimension equivalents. 8 11/16 = size 5, 8 13/16 = size 5.5, 9 = size 6, 9 3/16 = size 6.5, 9 5/16 = size 7 and 9 1/2 = size 7.5.
